Secret Salah collects the minimum information needed to provide its features.

This data is stored locally on your device by default. If you are signed in, it is additionally synced to your private Firebase Firestore account so you can restore it on a new device.

Prayer records and preferences are stored locally on your device using the platform's secure storage (Android DataStore / iOS UserDefaults/Keychain). Location data is never transmitted to our servers.
If you are signed in, your prayer records and preferences are additionally stored in Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud infrastructure), which provides:
No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we apply industry-standard protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data. If you are signed in:
You can view and edit your display name and preferences directly within the app settings at any time.
You can clear all local data by uninstalling the app. To delete your cloud account and associated data, use the account deletion option in Settings, or contact us at hello@aizsquare.com.
You can enable or disable prayer notifications at any time in the app's Settings screen or through your device's system notification settings.
You can set your location manually (by searching for a city) instead of using GPS, in which case the app never accesses your device's location services.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (e.g., GDPR for EU residents, CCPA for California residents), including the right to access, port, restrict, or object to processing of your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Secret Salah is suitable for users of all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. The app's sign-in feature (which collects a phone number) is optional; the core prayer-tracking features are fully available without an account.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us at hello@aizsquare.com and we will promptly delete it.
